Yes! I have been bad and lazy, and so selfish, eating so much delicious food and not taking photos or even reviewing it, how rude! I know!
My camera is currently on the fritz, I'm fixing it this week, and I've also gone on a vegan cookbook binge which led to a cooking, particularly sweets baking, binge! Such things need to be documented!
So watch this space and expect some action!
PS. Can you get nutritional yeast and vital wheat gluten ANYWHERE in Melbourne?! I'm at a loss. :(

Yes you can get nutritional yeast at most health food stores. it's called savoury yeast flakes though here. I normally get it at wholefoods (either the brunswick or the collingwood one) or flinders organic in the city.
So glad you are back :) I really enjoy your posts because they are unpretentious and an excellent read.
I know I've found nutritional yeast at Go Vita at The Glen in Glen Waverley, but yes, most healtgh food shops should stock it - I buy the Lotus brand. As for vital wheat gluten, I know Lotus makes gluten flour, but last time I bought it was in Ballarat!
As the others have said, yep, you can get it in Melbourne and yeah in Australia it's known as Savoury Yeast Flakes. I got some from Macro Wholefoods (http://www.macrowholefoods.com.au) Armadale.
Thanks for the tips guys! I actually contacted Macro about their recent lack of savoury yeast and apparently their regular stockist (I think it was Blue Lotus but dont quote me) has discontinued savoury yeast and they dont know if they will carry it anymore, and if they do it wont be for some months! Argh!! I will try various wholefoods stores for better luck, so thanks for all the tips!! The search for "vital wheat gluten" continues..dammit I want to make my own seitan!!!
good to be back, hey squid. i think we should blog about the perplexing not burger issue.
You seem to be okay with tips on Savoury Yeast. I'm not sure if you know, Vital Wheat Gluten is sold as Gluten Flour over here. I know Go Vita stores stock it (it's only in a 500g bag and it has a clear panel at the front with green at the top and bottom). Most health food stores should (just don't ask for vital wheat gluten, they have no idea what you're on about). Good luck. I hope you find it. Oh and if you can't find it the Vegetarian Society should have a contact you can ask.
For the gluten flour try onlyoz.com.au (but they're based in BrisVegas).
Love the blog!
savoury yeast can also be called torula yeast...
